Cagan Crossings Library Reciprocal Borrowing Contract Ends Soon

Lake County will soon be requiring northeast Polk County residents pay an annual fee to use the Cagan Crossings Library. This is due to Lake County's request to terminate the Reciprocal Borrowing Contract between the Governing Board of the Polk County Library Cooperative (PCLC) and Lake County Library System. BMail Books by Mail
All Polk residents can have library materials delivered to their door step by the United States Postal Service. How?

  1. Use the on-line catalog
  2. Find your item
  3. Request it with your library login and select “books by mail” as the location

Return items to the book drop at the Outpost 27or any public library in Polk County.

Outpost 27 Visitors Center
The Library Cooperative has book/DVD lending machines (similar to a Redbox) installed at this location. Your library card provides access to the items. A book drop is available for returns. For more information call (863) 393-5610.
